Nursery Ministry

The Next Gen Ministry

Safety is our First Priority!
It is our desire to maintain a safe and caring environment for children to learn about Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
All volunteers and staff have had criminal background checks, screened and trained to insure child protection, the highest quality care and parental peace of mind.
Hours of Operation: The River of Life Nursery opens 30 minutes prior to class/service times and remains open for 15 minutes afterward.
• Sunday: opens at 9:00 AM
• Wednesday: opens at 6:30 PM
What To Bring To The Nursery
Diapers/pull-ups, bottle/zippy cup and formula, pacifier if used, extra change of clothes. Please have all items labeled with child’s first and last name prior to checking in to the nursery.
What NOT to Bring To The Nursery
Solid food or medication of any kind. Parents may administer medications as necessary. Church provides snack during service times.
Child Check-In and Pick-Up
Children must be checked in by an adult. All parents are issued a number for security, once their child is signed in and all items are labeled. Please pick up children promptly after all service times.
Parent/Volunteer Participation
All parents of nursery-aged children are required to participate in the River of Life Nursery Ministry by dedicating one service per month as a helper. If you are not a parent but would like to be a part of this ministry at any level, please contact us so that you can get involved.
Jean Geary is our Nursery Director. She will schedule all parents/volunteers and ensure a monthly reminder card is mailed to your home. Should a conflict arise please contact our Director or the church office to schedule an alternate service time.
Service Options
Helpers should arrive 15 minutes prior to the class or service they are scheduled to assist.
For more information and to volunteer your valuable time contact the church office.
